Flinders Street Station (canvas painting) 61 x 50cm

This painting on canvas using pens and acylic paints, was painted by Fi, in a natural backyard setting in February 2026 in South West Victoria, after a weekend in Melbourne capturing favourite buildings in the city. Fi wanted to paint this beautiful building that has been standing strong as a meeting place, since 1910, when it was officially completed. The row of clocks featured in this painting originally showed train departure times, and they still draw crowds today as a meeting spot, "meet you at Flinders under the clocks", has been a Melbourne classic for generations.
